The white-flowered " Ink Plant" (Cycnium tubatum, Harvey) in front, with the rosy Hibiscus pedunculatus, Thunb., blue Plectranthus, a white and purplespotted species of Asystasia and the little scarlet Striga coccinea, Benth., which sticks in the throats of incautious cattle and chokes them.
